UV Box Pro

How dirty is my phone?

Long story short, really dirty. We can’t help but touch dirty things - handrails, doors, money, gym equipment, the subway and the list goes on. The problem is when we touch our phones we then pass the bacteria from our hands to our devices. Viruses and bacteria can live on phone surfaces for days! You touch your phone, you touch your face and you can get sick. That's where Cleanly comes in.

How does the UV Box Pro work?

UV Box Pro uses UV-C rays (253.7nm) to destroy germ DNA safely, leaving your device clean and sterile with no damage.

Ultraviolet C (UV-C) light is a short and high-energy wavelength of light that is highly effective at decontamination because it destroys molecular bonds that form virus and bacteria DNA. UV-C light is germicidal and can even neutralize “superbugs” that have developed antibiotic resistance. UV-C light is widely used in commercial healthcare for its sterilization properties and the UV Box Pro is equipped with 4 small but mighty, high powered germicidal LEDs for maximum cleaning power.

How do I know the UV Box Pro works?

The UV Box Pro been lab tested and proven to eliminate 99.99% of pathogens (Escherichia coli 8099, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538, Candida albicans ATCC 10231 tested) by a number of independent third parties, with all results and testing methodologies ILAC-MRA compliant (signifying they have gone through a rigorous and internationally recognized testing conformity assessment). On top of this, the UV Box Pro is CE, FCC, and RoHS certified.

See ILAC-MRA compliant test results below.

How long does it take to clean?

One sanitization cycle lasts about 5 minutes. Simply place your device or item in the UV Box Pro and it will sanitize automatically, indicating that sanitization cycle is done when the red light stops blinking.

How often should I use my UV Box Pro?

It's totally up to you but it's just human nature to touch dirty things without realizing it so we'd recommend every day or as often as you can remember to. Think about using it after common trigger events/locations for pathogen growth such as public transit, gyms, grocery stores, washrooms and after handling food.

Does it clean both sides of my phone?

Yes! Our proprietary 360° 4 LED technology cleans your entire device, so there's no need to flip your phone over for another cycle.

Can I keep my case on my phone?

Yes! In fact, most of the bacteria on our hands is passed to our phone cases. We encourage you to keep your phone case on your phone while you use the UV Box Pro.

Will my phone fit in the UV Box Pro?

Yes! The UV Box Pro is designed to fit even the largest of phones such as the iPhone 11 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, and Huawei P40 Pro; however, if you have a phone larger than those listed (especially if you have a large case) please refer to the internal dimensions (170 x 90 x 22 mm).

Will it sanitize items other than phones?

Yes! UV Box Pro works great for AirPods, keys, wallets, face masks, glasses, credit cards, cash, coins, and more.

How do I set up my UV Box Pro device?

There's no setup! Simply place your item(s) inside, click the 'on' button and the UV Box Pro does the rest.

Clean Key

What does the Clean Key do?

Use Clean Key to push buttons, pull handles, pay at credit card terminals/gas stations and more, to prevent you from making contact with dirty surfaces in public places.

What is the Clean Key made out of?

The Clean Key is made of an antimicrobial and structurally durable zinc and copper alloy. It's made to last and prevents germs from latching on.

How do I know the Clean Key is actually antimicrobial?

The Clean Key is made from a zinc and copper alloy. The antimicrobial properties of surfaces with this composition have been widely studied and proven in scientific literature - alloys of this nature have been found to virtually decrease the viability of potential pathogens on the surface to zero for both wet and dry contamination (i.e., coughs, sneezes, touches, etc.) over time. Touch surfaces in hospital intensive care units (ICUs) are often made of copper alloys, expressly because they have been shown to reduce transmission of potentially disease-carrying organisms.

Does the Clean Key work on touchscreens?

Yes! The Clean Key works on pressure-sensitive touchscreens (at compatible gas stations and ATM's); this includes various smartphones and tablets such as Samsung, Android and select iPhone models.

How do I clean my Clean Key?

The surface itself is antimicrobial so you don't need to worry about germs latching on. That being said, for general maintenance and upkeep you can clean your Clean Key with a mixture of ½ a lemon and a teaspoon of baking soda to slow down the natural patina of the metal.

About Us

We are a Canadian-based company. After learning about how UV-C light is used for safe and effective sanitization in commercial healthcare, we wanted to make the technology readily available for consumers - through innovating high quality products at a reasonable price.
